Not many mushrooms grow to such a size. Wade was lucky his friends had kept an eye on this one, or he, like most, would have missed out on the beauty that is the rainy nights of Clearleaf Forest
I really need to draw Wade and the Teensies more often...even if Wade isn't due to appear in Human Flaws until the end....
I had a LOT of fun doing this...the sketch took me a whole day to come up with (with like 6 scrap sketches thrown away). I worked about three days with the pen tool and paint brush mixture for the coloring, and Johnny worked on the background and rain effects for me. (Thank you sweetie!!)
I'll upload the Calender on March 1st. For now, enjoy the beauty of this piece as it is.
