What’s going on

Art

I apologize for being unforgivably slow with art lately. My primary distraction has been two things: Looking for work, and playing games. The only time I seem to have the motivation to work is at night when everyone's sleeping, and somehow the tiny desk lamp I have makes SO much light that the little bit of light seeping under my door is enough to keep everyone awake (wtf? I tested this...I hardly see anything).

So until I can figure out a loophole, art will continue to be a little on the slow side. I wanna get back to LHHTP SOOO badly before I totally lose my viewers. (I think I already have...woops...)

So...high on the agenda is getting back to working on LHHTP, along with a little sub-series called "Spazzing at the News", which is based on mine and *SynDuo's obnoxious comments towards the news and various commercials we see from time to time. I should have started making notes to these things months ago. You don't realize how much your own life is such golden material until like...6 months later. XD

I plan to draw various other things as well. Rayman stuff, pokemon stuff, maybe some Digimon stuff, and of course a few Neopets comics. Originals first, so if you don't watch my Originals account, =Macaroni-Salad, then it's a good time to watch it now, cause you'll see more updates in that direction.


Internet life

Internet life is okayish. I really do wish I would be left alone when my Away message is up. It's so easy to break my concentration. I'd just log off, but then my communications with *SynDuo are severed and we actually have to....*gasp*....get off our butts and walk down the hall if we wanna say something! The horror!! *lazy*

I'm working on a very expensive avi on GaiaOnline too. I'm willing to do avi commissions for some gold (technically it's not a donation) since I need to save up like 5 mill+ to achieve it.

Also, I'm being harassed by some 12 year old who claims to be more of a Magician-Fangurl than me and is REALLY bitching at me. I reported them once before for being underage and all and they were banned fairly quickly. Makes me happy. But now they're back and until they confess their age, I can't do anything. Although I'm VERY close to reporting them for harassing me. I'm a fangirl. Just because you are too doesn't give anyone, especially a 12 year old, the right to DEMAND I not draw Luckster x Houdini art!

IN YO FACE, BITCH! Now go cry to mommy and leave me alone! >8(

^_^ I feel better now....I should draw some Luckster x Houdini art just to piss them off and to satisfy my own fangirl desires! MWAHAHAHA!!!


Real Life

Well, I WOULD have a job right now if my former boss hadn't put me on a do-not-rehire list. I've been calling Gamestop Human Resources off and on for a while now, but now no one's picking up. I did NOTHING to make me non-rehire-able, so I'm pretty much royally fucked. I've been applying to jobs off and on (different hiring seasons) for about a year now, and the only people remotely interested in hiring me (another Gamestop) can't hire me because my boss and I weren't in pleasant speaking terms upon my leave.

If you're reading this ex-boss, thanks for letting me know I was on a do-not-rehire list when you knew I had my hopes up for that job. I wasted a month and a half trying to get this job, only to be turned away very sadly before my second interview. I LOVE being unemployed! It's so much fun! I have no money! I can't visit my folks! I can't save up for an apartment. I get guilt because I don't pay for anything. Life sure is grand now! I hope you're enjoying your beautiful income at Best Buy. I probably have no chance of getting a job their either do I? Even if you won't be my boss, I'm sure you'll make sure you let your managers know I was deemed un-rehire-able when you had me employed. I mean, it's not like I messed up the tills, stole anything, or was a constant problem on the job. I was only a little upset upon my voluntary leave as all. But I guess that's perfect grounds to be un-rehire-able. Makes perfect sense! My life is complete! Thank you ex-boss!</sarcasm></rant>

What sucks worse is the Gamestop I used to work at is actually hiring right now and there's nothing I can do about it. The ONLY jobs I can jump at and I will never get because I was cranky at my ex-boss after I left. I can't not put Gamestop as my last job either, cause then I'm turned away for lack of experience and all that crap, and if I am hired, I'll probably be fired for lying to them about not having former employment or some shit.

And what's even WORSE is the fact that I opened a bank account and deposited all my birthday money into it, thinking I was finally gonna get income. If I knew I was on the no-hire list, I would have just cashed in my birthday check instead. Now that money has to sit there until I get a job, or it runs out from penalties (for not using my debit card or depositing money) or from spending.

I would take commissions, but 1) no one's interested, and 2) I'm slow with them. I still have one I have to finish. Gonna work on it once I'm done with this journal.



Well...that's my updates. Sorry about the rants! Back to work now.
